Ads Are Running But the Phone Isn’t Ringing. Here’s Why.
Five reasons a campaign spends without producing enquiries — and how to tell which one is yours before you increase the budget.

It is usually the creative, not the targeting
Businesses blame targeting first because it is the knob they know. But on Meta especially, the creative does most of the targeting work. If the first three seconds do not stop the scroll, no audience setting saves the campaign. Before touching audiences, ask whether you would stop for your own ad.
You are advertising features to people who buy outcomes
“Premium quality, best service, 20 years experience” is what every competitor says. What the customer wants to know is what changes for them. The EMTO campaign that took daily bookings from 30 to 200 did not advertise the platform — it told real driver and shipper stories, and the product sold itself in the background.
The landing page breaks the promise
The ad says one thing, the page says another, and the enquiry never happens. The page should continue the ad's sentence, load fast on a mid-range phone on patchy data, and ask for one action. If the visitor must scroll past three sections to find how to contact you, most will not.
Nobody follows up fast enough
In most Indian service categories, the business that replies within ten minutes wins the job. Leads sitting in an email inbox until evening are cold by the time anyone opens them. Route them to WhatsApp, where they are seen and answered on a phone.
You are testing nothing
One ad running for three months is not a campaign, it is a hope. Run several hooks, cut the losers weekly, and put the budget behind what is working — inside the same month, not next quarter.
